ESSAY
There
are different styles in writing an essay i.e., descriptive, explanatory,
illustrative, analytical argumentative, evaluative, interpretative and more.
Regarding examinations you will be provided some clues, cues or hints as
subtext. While writing an essay concentrate on features of the essay and
answering the clues of the question in separate organized paragraphs. Take the
chance of writing rough work and making it perfect.
Structure of
an essay:
a.
Introduction: There must
begin the essay with some introduction which leads to the main essay.
b.
Argumentation: The actual
essay where one could explain or give his argumentation towards the theme of
the essay. Here one could supply the supporting information to strengthen one’s
argumentation of the subject.
c.
Conclusion: The
conclusion is the end of an essay which ends with some conclusion of the theme
of the essay. If the essay is on a problem, the possible solutions can be
given.
E.g. 1: Now-a-days
expenses are increased for the students of high school as they have to submit
their project works and reports. Children would round in search of their
supporting material for their projects and report etc. Imagine if he/she could
earn himself/herself to meet additional expenses. Now write an essay to support
doing a part time job for high school students.
PART
TIME JOB FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Part
time employment for students is a highly speculated and interesting topic. I feel
every student should have a part time job in high school. To begin with it
allows students to earn a type of income. Secondly it gives students a sense of
independence to be out in the work force. Finally, I feel it would be a good
idea to earn work experience which will better their chances of getting a
decent job in the future.
As
a teenager, having money at my disposal is very important and also required to
have a social life. This comes into effect if I would like to go to a movie or
out to dinner with a friend. Without money, in our society, we are very limited
to the activities we can pursue. Furthermore, if I wish to have a certain type
of clothing, my parents will only pay so much. If I wish to purchase a more
expensive brand, it must come out of my pocket. Thus, in order to fit the
student’s needs without the parents having to pay, a part time job is an ideal
resource.
Finally,
apart from a fiscal viewpoint, we are receiving valuable work experience. This
will be great to put on a resume, and employers seek it. For example, two
people righty out of University with the same credentials and qualifications as
you could be fighting for a job. If you have more work experience, you will
most likely to get the position. Plus, you now know what you like about jobs,
how to handle yourself and developing people skills.
Many
teenagers today can definitely benefit from the aspects of a job. Whether or
not they enjoy the job is irrelevant, but I feel the positives they can receive
from it are infinite. I also feel more teens should soon begin to consider this
as an option, not only for their immediate benefit but to assist in their
future hopes.
E.g. 2: The day to day life there is a cell phone in every hand.
The elders oppose to have a cell phone for a teenager. Despite of negative
result there are many positive usages of a cell phone for a teenager. Now write
an essay on ‘Cell phone necessary in teenagers’ lives.
Cell
phones necessary in teenagers’ lives
Yes,
cell phones are necessary in teenagers’ lives. They are necessary because there
are many advantages for having a cell phone. Without cell phones, teenagers
wouldn’t be able to communicate easy with their family, peers and in emergency
situations.
Cell
phones are necessary in teenagers’ lives because, it is an easy way of
contacting your family. It you have to stay at college longer for a specific
reason or your family is looking for you and you are out. Cell phones make it
easy to communicate. Without cell phones, your family would be worried sick, they
wouldn’t know exactly where you are, and how much longer you would be. With
cell phones, they could contact you right away, without having to worries about
anything.
Cell
phones are also necessary for teenagers to contact each other. That is
necessary because it is important to talk with your peers, and find out if you
have any homework. It is also important to contact you peers because, it is
good to go out and get fresh air and exercise, instead of staying home and
playing video games and going on the computer. Cell phones make it easier to
contact one another, to make plans.
Another
reason why cell phones are necessary in teenagers’ lives is for emergency
reason. If you are alone and walking somewhere and suddenly have been attacked
or have an allergic reaction or have fallen down and broken something, it would
be life threatening, not having a cell phone. If you don’t have a cell phone
you couldn’t call for help and could be at risk.
So
that is why it is essential for teenagers to have cell phones, because without
them, it would be very difficult to enjoy life, and it could even be a short
life, if something bad happens and you don’t have a phone.

3: It is hard to believe that still
we could find child labours around the world. There may be many reasons like
social, economic, cultural and many behind this social problem. Now write an essay
on child labour. You can mention details about reasons for child labours, evil
effects of child labours, relief measures etc.
Child Labour
Child labour involves
the regular working of children in their childhood at very young age from five
to fourteen years. Children in many developing countries are forced to work
hard for full day against their will at very low pay for their survival. They
want to go school, play with their friends and need love and care by their
parent like other children living in rich houses. But unfortunately, they are
forced to do something against their will.
In developing
countries, the rate of the child labour is high because of the poverty, low
level awareness for education and poor schooling opportunities. Most of the
children of age group 5 to 14 are found to be involved in the agriculture by
their parents in the rural areas. Poverty and lack of schools are the primary
reasons of child labour in any developing country all across the world.
Childhood is
considered as the happiest and vital experience in the life of everyone as
childhood is the most important and friendly period of learning. Children have
full rights to get proper attention from their parents, love and care from
their parents, proper schooling, guidance, playing with friends and other happy
moments. Child labour is corrupting the lives of many precious children every
day. It is the high level of illegal act for which one should be punished but
because of the ineffective rules and regulations it is going side by side.
Nothing
effective is happening to prevent the child labour from society as quickly as
possible. Children are too young, cute and innocent to realize the things
happening to them in the early age. They are unable to recognize that what is
wrong and illegal for them instead they become happy getting small money for
their work. Unknowingly they become interested in the getting money on daily
basis and ruining their whole life and future.
Your Health
is Your Wealth
Now-a-days, a
good health is just like a boon given by the God. It is very fact that good
health is real money of life. Good health is considered as the precious earning
of a human throughout his/her life. If one has losses his health, he has lost
all the charms of life. A good wealth can be earned anytime using a good health
however; a good health can never be earned again in the life if once destroyed.
In order to maintain a good health, we need to do regular physical exercises,
yoga, meditation, balanced food, good thoughts, cleanliness, personal hygiene,
regular health check-ups, proper sleep, rest, etc. If one is healthy, he/she
does not need spend money on his/her health in buying medicines or visiting
doctors. A healthy person just needs to spend some money only on his health on
regular basis. However, on the other hand a lazy, diseased or sluggish person
needs to spend more money throughout his life.
People
generally become failure in their life to maintain a good health just because
of their lazy and idle habits. They think that what they are doing is right but
time has already gone whenever they understand their mistakes. A good health is
one which keeps us healthy in all aspects like mentally, physically, socially
and intellectually. A good health provides us freedom from all the sickness and
diseases. A good health is the feeling of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
It is a costly and most precious gift of the life and necessary for living a
purposeful life.
A good health
allows us to work for more time without getting tired. A good health is the
real pleasures and charm of life. An unhealthy person always worries about
his/her physical or physiological complications. So, it is good to maintain the
good health to get rid of all the complications of body as well as successfully
face all the challenges of life.
E.g.
5: You know that today many people
are consuming safe and drinking
water irresponsibly. If it is been
habituated and continued for some more time, future generations will find no safe and drinking water. Now write an essay on this issue by
mentioning measures to protect safe
and drinking water for future.
Save Water for Next Generations
Save water is the water conservation through
various means on the earth in order to balance life here.
By estimating the very less percentage of safe
and drinking water on the earth, water conservation or save water campaign has
been compulsory for every one of us. Large water bodies are getting polluted on
daily basis by the industrial waste materials. Proper water management systems
should be promoted by the builders in all industrial buildings, apartments,
school, hospitals, etc. to bring more efficiency in the water saving. Awareness
programmes should be run to let common people know about the potential problems
caused by the drinking or normal water scarcity. There is urgent need to
eradicate the people’s attitude about water wastage.
Rainwater harvesting should be initiated by
the people at village level. Rain water can be saved by making small or big
ponds with proper maintenance. Young students need to be more aware and
concentrate on the issues and solutions. Water insecurity and scarcity has
affected people’s living in many countries of the developing world. According
to the statistics, people’s demand for the water has been six-fold in the past
century. 40 per cent of the global population is living in the areas of demand
outstrips supply. And in the coming decades this situation can be worsened
because everything will expand like population, agriculture, industries, etc.
How to Save Water
I
have mentioned below some better ways to save water on daily basis:
·
People
should water their lawn and garden only when they need water.
·
Sprinkling
is better on the plants than putting more water with pipe which can save more
gallons of water per month.
·
Planting
drought resistant plants is better way to save water.
·
Leaky
faucets and plumbing joints should be fixed properly to save water leakage
which may save around 20 gallons of water per day.
·
Use
of bucket and mug is good to wash car instead of using pipe which may save up
to 150 gallons of water each time.
·
Use
of fully loaded washing machines and dishwashers saves around 300 to 800
gallons per month.
·
Restricting
the use of more water per toilet helps in saving more water per day.
·
We
should wash fruits and vegetables in the water filled pot instead of washing
under the running water.
·
Rain water harvesting is good idea for the purposes like use in
toilet, watering garden, etc. so that clean water can be saved for drinking and
cooking purposes.
E.g.
6: Now a day it is common news that
someone died in an accident, hence we can say that road accidents have become
more common today. Now write an essay on this issue by giving reasons
and mentioning measures to prevent accidents and make the young aware of road
safety.
Life is more precious than thrill
Road accidents have become very common due to the vehicle
collisions and ignorance of proper road safety measures. The number of deaths
is increasing due to the motor vehicle collisions by the people ignoring road
safety rules. All the roads have been busier for full day where vehicles are
running in their high-speed. People in the modern world are being used to of
their personal transportation so there is more traffic on the roads than ever
before. In such condition, it needs people to follow traffic rules and road
safety rules to practice safe driving in careful manner. So, the road accidents
can be reduced.
Each and every people must do defensive driving courses under the
guidance of authorized instructor by any recognized driving school before start
driving on the roads. It is very important for road safety purposes. Everyone
must know the trick to handle serious situations related to vehicles how to
operate vehicles or themselves on the roads to save various accidents and
lives. Road safety measures should be added in the school as an important
subject so that students can get detail knowledge in their early age before
driving. Most of the road accidents cases happened because of improper
knowledge about operating vehicles and lack of proper road safety measures.
It is now becoming very unsafe to drive on the road day by day.
Sometimes people use their personal vehicles for long time without regular
maintenance and servicing, so it is very necessary to ensure vehicle’s proper
working condition with timely service. It not only increases the life of
vehicles; reduces the number of accidents too. Driver should check the brake
system properly and well aware of the warning signs of failing brakes. There
should always be first aid box, emergency tools, sufficient gasoline, and
proper functioning vehicle before going to the trip.
E.g.

studies and technical gadgets make them lazy and dull. We can find more people
are suffering from obesity and ill health as they don’t have any physical
exercise. Sport and game will make us healthy and strong. Now write an essay

Introduction
Sports are generally liked by everyone especially kids however it
may harm them in many ways. Kids can be easily injured and deviated from their
study. However, kids love to go outside and play sports or games with their
friends. If we have a look on the history, we see that sports are given much
importance from the ancient time. In the modern time, growing popularity of
other entertainment things like video games, television, etc. are decreasing
the demand of sports and games in the life. However, it is also true that
sports and games are treated by the many countries as cultural activities, so
we can say that the trend of games and sports can never finish in the future.
Sports activities have been made compulsory in the schools and
colleges for the student’s good physical health, mental health and professional
career. Sports have nice career in future for anyone who involved dedicatedly.
It is very beneficial especially for the students as it supports physical as
well as mental development. People who are much interested and good in the
sports can live more active and healthy life. They can develop better
discipline and leadership qualities at the workplace as well.
Physical coordination and strength
It is considered that both, sports and strength are two sides of
the coin. It is true that a person involved in the sports activities get more
strength than the normal person without any physical exercise. A person
interested in the sports can develop great body strength and make his/her
career bright by participating in any sports at national or international
level. Playing sports help in strengthening the immune system, maintaining
physical coordination, enhancing body strength and improving mental power.
Character and Health Building
Playing sports on regular basis; helps in building character and
health of a person. It is generally seen that a person involved in sports
activity from the very young age, develops very clear and strong character as
well as good health. Sportsperson becomes more punctual and disciplined thus;
we can say that sports give various strong and well-built individuals to the
society and nation.

Solution
to uproot corruption:
The nation belongs to its youth. They
are the makers of tomorrow. What they do today will reflect in the society
tomorrow. To live in a society, that is corruption free, we need people with
quality, of mind and thoughts. If those people come forward to build a strong
nation, our dream of a corruption free society is never far away. Youth of
India can do a great deal in this matter but we must be careful so that they do
not take up misguide ideals and ideas because it is going to have the opposite
effect.
Role of youth: They must fearlessly
take up politics, to give new dimensions to it, give sense to it and must
provide what the society really needs. Law must ensure protection and rights to
its citizens who believe in it. People who believe in the purity of knowledge
and the importance of education must take up the responsibility of providing
knowledge to the young minds. They must be able to teach the values of life.
Every profession comes with an ethics and the youth must not only be able to
keep up the ethics, but also influence the society to build a life oriented
towards values and ethics. They must be able to uphold and bring truth to the
people through media. They must be able to apply sense and act wise. They must
be courageous to stand for truth, raise their voice against injustice. The
youth must strive to reach top positions who can then frame policies for the
nation which would bring in development and prosperity, truth and justice,
thereby a corruption free society.

conditions, melting glaciers etc. Now keeping the below points in view, write

b.

c.
Need of reforestation
d.

e.
What to do for reforestation
f.
Who has to take the
responsibility? etc.
Possible answer:
REFORESTATION
AND REHABILITATION
When
we understand the reasons and effects of the ‘Deforestation’ we could
definitely understand the importance of ‘Reforestation’. Cutting the forests
down is deforestation. Then why we cut down the forests? There are many reasons
why forests are cut down. One is to benefit economically, with furniture and
home building. The human greedy spirit may cause the deforestation.
When
forests are cut down, eventually the benefits that the human beings and all the
other living organisms enjoying by the forests will be cut down. For instance,
trees take carbon dioxide and release oxygen which is the life of every living
organism. When we deforest we fall short of oxygen and we will be hospitalized.
There will be a change in the rain fall pattern. Everything is connected with
forests. Recently what had happened in China and even in our capital city New
Delhi? We witnessed that the lives of the people suffered by the industrial
fog. Then what to do to protect us from effects of deforestation?
The
only way to protect ourselves is to protect forests. To protect forests, we
have to ‘Reforest’. It’s high time we put hands together to reforest. Everyone
has to join in the movement of “Haritha Haram” and make the earth green with
forests, so that we can rehabilitate the earth and its life too. The government
must take necessary steps to make aware of the tree plantation among the people
and must take action against the culprits of the wood’s smugglers etc.
